When I need you,
And you’re not here.
When I call your cell,
But you’re not there.
When I call your name,
And all I hear is silence;
It’s a different type of pain!

When I fall,
And I’m all alone,
When I fail,
But I can’t count on your support.
When I’m hurt,
But you don’t have my back;
It’s a different type of pain.

I cried in the rain,
I screamed in the shower,
Sadness, anger and frustration permeate my soul,
And you are no where to be found;
It’s a different type of pain.

To a special human,
Born on the eleventh moon,
A native of the rocky village,
But bred and tutored in the land of the brown roofs.
Born in the South,
And schooled in the North,
She’s a true daughter of the soil.

Happy birthday my wonderful friend, sister;
confidant, colleague, business partner;
gist sharer, smart talker and my twin sister.

I love you like the moon does the sun,
And I wish you the very best of this year,

From now till forever!
I pray that the Lord Almighty grant you all your heart desires.

Half empty

Halfway through the night,
Or so I thought!
There’s a glimmer of light on the horizon,
Or so my eyes tell me.
I dropped a cup on the table,
I perceive it as half-full.

But in reality,
I am nowhere near.
The more I strive,
The further breakthrough seems.
The more I fight,
The bloodier the battle becomes.

The sky is bleak,
And my mood is meek.
I just want it to end.
But when would it?

The root of all evil,
And the evil that spreads the most root.
The cause of all evil,
And the evil with the worst curse,
Is love.

Murder has been committed.

Sincere commitment have being murdered.

The snares of love,

And the pain of love,
Are unavoidable!
Inescapable!

Love brings out the worst in humans,
But for you,
I’ll always be in love.

All my life,
I’ve always wanted to be with you.
But recently,
Doing that is torture.
I want to hold you passionately,
But you don’t want me to.
I want to stare into your eyes,
And hear how much you love me,
But you don’t anymore.

Loving you is so divine,
But I feel like you’re on a decline,
When it comes to loving me.
Loving you is my most important gain,
But this is a different type of pain,
When I don’t know how much you love me.
Loving you brings me solace,
But I can’t afford to look into your face,
Because I don’t want you to reject me.

I sincerely do love you.

The feeling of doom, damage beyond repair;
Even when she is always by your side.

Because you know that the days are numbered.

That’s when you think of 6 feet underground.
You think of the wonders of a sharp razor.
The alluring spirit of a strong rope tied to a stronger tree.
You think of expired poisons and poisonous products.

I fell in love at the worst time.
I was smitten when I was still a coward.
Scared of uncertainties,
Disdainful of the future,
And scared of rejection.

I loved you like no other.
I ran away from certain responsibilities.
I needed you. Wanted you.
But I couldn’t go further.
Couldn’t go for what I knew was mine.
I loved you, like a boy loves.

Now, I’m a man.
And I feel like I’ve lost you.
I wanted to do things differently,
But the time have changed
You have changed.
The situation has changed.

There’s honey in your name,
And you are the sweetest human I know,
Your words.
Your care.
Your emotions.
You showed me love.
You displayed sweetness.
You’re the epitome of perfection.

I messed up once,
And you took me back.
I promised to do more.
To be better.
To make things nicer.

I stopped saying this.
But my face tells you,
My actions speak volumes.
You’re awesome.
