What was the best compliment you’ve received?

I will pick a review of one of my short stories as the best compliment I’ve ever received. The story is titled Firefly.
In her words (she identifies as a female), she said “you need to see a psychiatrist, because this is too dark to be fiction”.
What. A. Compliment.
For my writing to generate such an amount of fear and uncertainty in a person is a compliment to me.
I am human,
And so are you.
I hate the fact that I love you,
I love you more than life itself!
I love you more than the word “love”.
I hate that I love you so much.
I am weird,
You’re unique.
I hate the fact that you love me so much.
You love me more than love itself!

I love to hate you.
And I hate loving you.
You’re a sun,
And I will happily revolve around you.
Do I not have a brain to think?
Well, I don’t need a brain.
I just love hating you!
