Love? No thanks!

Like an eagle
I have to soar
But first,
I have to get free
From weights pulling me l down.

Soar high
Glide away into the sky
But first,
I have to be free.

I can whisper your name
In the darkest cave
And you’d still know it’s me
It’s meant to be a secret message:
But I just can’t hide:
Just as you can’t hide your beauty:
and awesomeness,
and your perfection,

And your distema
Is my weakness.

The pain you bring

Your voice
Is what I needed to hear
Your laughter
Is what I came for
The joy in your face
Your free spirit
Is what I am after

But thus new you
Aloof
Withdrawn
Distant
Is pushing me away
Moving me closer to the abyss
The air in my lungs
Is killing me
The blood in my veins
Is poisonous.

Overdependent on you
I’ve become.
Every ounce of my happiness
Is tied to you
And you being like this
Is painful.
I am tearing apart inside.
I am in pain.

Heartbreak

I offered you my heart
And I watched you break it
I gave you my all
And I saw you break me
Thousands of promises
And you broke all

Good memories
All turned sour

But there is one thing you can’t take
My faith.
I believe in love
And I will find mine.
My own soul mate.

My little sexcapade. (Guest post)

I’ve always had a crush on Sukanmi. Right from when we were kids playing in my family house back in the village. He has always been energetic and strong. He was the type of boy that could play for hours on end without getting tired.

I was amazed when I saw him again last week in school. We ended up in the same school without knowing before. We exchanged contacts and promised to chat later after our respective classes. I hit him up on WhatsApp and he started treating me like a sister. “did I tell him I need him to be my brother?” I mused. The moment he invited me to his house was when I decided to tell him about the feelings I’ve always had for him.

I got to his house and I met him smoking. He excused himself and I was alone in his room watching a Korean movie. Several thoughts crossed my mind when the actors were kissing in a scene. I pictured myself locked in an embrace with Sukanmi and showing him how much of a good kisser I am. Before long, he joined me in the room.

As the movie progressed, I noticed he was inching closer to me. I sensed his eyes on my breasts and I pushed them out. I have full breasts and several guys have commented on how the sight of my breasts causes them to have erection. Sukanmi moved closer and hugged me from behind. I could feel his hard crotch in my back. At that moment I couldn’t resist. He removed my clothes and I removed his.

I held his rock hard dick in my hand and it was velvety. Like silk wrapped around mahogany. His smooth skin and bulging muscles made me so wet. Before I could move on to kiss him, he slid his fingers inside my vagina. I moaned so loudly and he smiled at me. He continued fingering me for a while till I almost lost it. I begged him to come inside.

I was so wet he came in easily. With each stroke of his, we cuddled closer and became one. He was so energetic and full of stamina. He turned all my inside to mush and I felt like hot butter. Just when I thought I couldn’t take it anymore, he came. But he exclaimed “what’s this blood?”.

The moment was ruined when I saw the blood. My menstruation came too early.

My Edo Princess

In this virtual world
I met with a reality
In a world where we celebrate fakes
I met one who is real.

Communicating in the cloud
But this feeling is higher
Higher than the sky
Intoxicated.
Thoughts of you make me high.

I know this is new
But I’ll kill for her;
roaches and spiders in the house.
chicken and turkeys when she’s hungry
cattle and ram when the knot is tied.

She is an Edo princess
But I am making her my queen. ©Ridwan Akinkunmi Ajagbe

A stroll with you

A stroll with you
Under the moonlight
Brings sunshine to my night.

A stroll with you
With no moonlight
Brightens my night beyond measure.

A day without seeing you
Feels blank
Although I won’t say it.

Your smile,
Is my medicine.

Your existence,
My daily prayer.

You know how I feel,
Even though I won’t say it..

Stupid questions? But they’re not!

You know that I care,
That’s why I ask some questions

How are you?
Even though I know you’re fine

Have you eaten?
Even though I’m not your chef

How are you feeling?
Because I’m hurt when you’re in pain

I always want to be around
Because I care

When I’m in severe pains
I will still smile for you.

Don’t get mad at the questions
Foolish as they may seem.

I just want to be closer to you
Because I care

Pain.

Metals are forged in fire.
Red hot furnace

Humans are forged in pain
The pain make or break

Shape or destroy
The pain define us.

You!

It’s midnight
And I’m awake
Deep in thought
Just because of you

Now, it’s noon
I’m busy
Deeply engaged
In daydreaming of you

I had a dream last night
It was amazing
You were with me
Till I woke up

Now just smile
Show me that love
I’d do anything
To keep you smiling.
