What do I miss about you?
You enquired!
I can’t live without you
I replied!
Feeling feverish,
Restless,
Going up and down,
Can’t seem to sleep or sit.
Can’t eat nor drink.
Like a doe on heat.
I can’t put a finger to it,
Nothing can soothe the pain
Apart from your voice,
Your face,
Your smile,
Your laughter….
Come back!
Where art thou?
Queen of my heart.
I miss you.!

Mother Earth-Heal Thyself
We need ye help
We are helpless
We do not know what else to do
And who else to run to
Our streets are deserted
Our minds are crowded
With thoughts of wails
And screams of affected nations
Here we are,
With a plague that rise from Asia
Eating deep all over the world
With no means of alleviation
Our workplaces are empty
Even religious houses are vacant
Our world seems to longer belong to us
It has become a new thing we dread
Who else but you will rescue us
We look up to you mother nature
To ease our minds
And grant us your healing prowess
The feelings were raw
Intense can be used to define it
It was nothing like anything
I have always felt
Just a stare at her curves
Is enough to melt a brick of ice
The way she walks
To the way she moves it all
She used it all to cage me
I was mesmerized by it all
And met myself in cloud nine
Enjoying an unending bliss
But then, in a blink of an eye
I realized i’m just one of her tools
To satisfy her urges
Nevertheless,She still remain my forever Cinderella.
I was never supposed to see this
Leaving school early was not planned
She was sent back home,
Not because she misbehaved
But because her father didn’t pay the fees.
Strange noises she heard from inside
Curious like the teenager she was
She investigated
There, she found a man and a woman
Her father and her niece
Deeply engaged in sexual intercourse
This is not my first ride
But you do things differently
Your voice
Your movements
The things you do with your lips
And the way your fingers move.
Even before we started
You paved the way
I had no trouble getting on
The perfection
The contours in the right places
Not my first
But this feeling
Is what I wanted. Needed. The next time you call
I will come.
And the next. And the next.

Its starting to feel like a figment of my imagination
Like it was once present but it never really was there
This emptiness, this loneliness
No amount of pills and potions is enough to fill this black hole
Tons of gold and silver would never suffice for what has been lost, what now feels like a mirage
What I wish for, but never will be
What I yearn for but can never have
The vacuum that can never be filled
The great love I once used to feel for thee
has become nothing but ash dust
5 feet apart is what we are now
TOMAMA Wrote This
To him
Who is always fun to be with
Making you forget the sad times
Even when chatting,
You laugh out like you’re readings joke
It is him, Ridwan.
Giving advices all the time
Trying his best to make things right
Assuring you Allah is in control
Telling you everything will be fine
It is him, Akinkunmi
Never a boring moment with him
Sharing his thought with you
Full of kindness and love
Loving you like no other does
It is the son of Ajagbe
And my prayer for him is:
Allah’s favor, rahmah and sekinah.
I hope you find that person soon
Who will love you and cherish you also.
It is him, Abu Marwan
To him,

The search
For many years, I have searched for answers, searched for clues;
Searched for the true meaning of life
They say “look upon the stars and you shall find the answers you seek”
Yet I gaze upon these stars, to find nothing but sparkling dots that speak nothing to me;
What purpose have I of being here?
Of what purpose do I keep living?
This cubicle is nothing but a perfect lie!
I seek to find its true meaning, I seek to find the purpose of my existence;
I seek to find the path on which my lost soul shall thread.
When the sky is grey
I’ll be your sunshine.
And when the night is darkest
I’ll be your moonlight
You won’t ever be lost
I’ll be your star
To guide you
To make you feel safe.

From the first minute
It was obvious
We can’t be together forever
In the way we wanted.
You were deeply in love
Your heart was mine
But your brain cautioned thee
It was obvious.
We should have stayed friends
And protect our sanity
It was doomed from the beginning
And it was obvious.
