Darkness brings out our fear
The absence of light
Is frightening. Scary.
But you’re here to shine
And even at your lowest
You illuminate the world!
One moment:

The sole winner of the melee
Or is it a duel?
But right now,
I just want to lie down;
And watch my life fade away.

Die slowly,
Exit without a trace.

Every time I think about it,
I fall in love over again.
Any time I catch a glimpse,
My heart skips a beat.

That damned smile,

When I was told to describe beauty,
I wasted no time;

“That’s beauty.”
Because nothing could be more beautiful.
But my reasoning was flawed;
Now I know better.
