What jobs have you had?

Hmm. This is a nice prompt. When it comes to jobs, you can call me a Jack of all trades.

I am currently a blogger (albeit I just do this for fun), a Science teacher (this job is putting food on my table), a content creator (I’m a freelance content writer), and a poet (I have self-published two works on Amazon).

Now, talking about the jobs I’ve had in the past. I’ve been involved in all sorts of menial jobs such as masonry, poultry, and livestock farming, and event planner.

When I need you,
And you’re not here.
When I call your cell,
But you’re not there.
When I call your name,
And all I hear is silence;
It’s a different type of pain!

When I fall,
And I’m all alone,

But I can’t count on your support.

What is one word that describes you?

The word I feel describes me perfectly is astute. What does astute mean?

Having or showing an ability to notice and understand things clearly: mentally sharp or clever.

If anything, I am an extremely clever human being. This doesn’t mean I’m proud or so full of myself. I am only answering a prompt and saying the truth as I see it.

Best Compliment

What was the best compliment you’ve received?

Hmm, interesting prompt!

I will pick a review of one of my short stories as the best compliment I’ve ever received. The story is titled Firefly.

In her words (she identifies as a female), she said “you need to see a psychiatrist, because this is too dark to be fiction”.

What. A. Compliment.

For my writing to generate such an amount of fear and uncertainty in a person is a compliment to me.

The Act of Sleeping

What activities do you lose yourself in?

Now this is a prompt I fully relate with. What activities do I lose myself in? I have just two activities that can take all my time away. Reading and sleeping.

If I am attached to an author, no matter how boring or exciting (sometimes an exciting book has its disadvantages) the book is, I will get lost in the book. Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, J. K. Rowlings, George R. R. Martin, and any book tagged “science fiction” can get me hooked anytime any day.

I am currently immersed in George Lukas’s Star Wars. I love the stories about Jedi, Sith, Mandalorians, the Hutts, and everything in between.

I don’t have much to say about the second activity which is sleeping. Who doesn’t love a good sleep?

Game of Thrones

What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

Game of Thrones is arguably the greatest TV series of all time. The storyline, the actors, the producers, the everything in between is just awesome.

Apart from the TV series, I read all the books in the A Song of Ice and Fire collection more than five times. The story of the Starks, and the Lannisters. The Dothrakis and the White-haired Tagareons. George R. R. Martin is probably the best writer I’ve ever had the opportunity of reading.

When it comes to movies, no one comes close to Deadpool. And as I am anticipating the release of Deadpool 3, I think I have to watch 1 and 2 again for the umpteenth time.
